Boise North End Remodel

As an interior designer, we get great satisfaction from undertaking rewarding projects that involve the preservation of authentic historic homes, such as the one we restored in the Boise North End.

Originally built in the early 1920s, the home exuded charm and character, but the basement was untouched and underutilized. To bring this space to life, we began by digging out the basement to create soaring 9-foot ceilings, opening up endless possibilities for design and functionality.

The goal was to honor the timeless character of the home while infusing it with a fresh, unique style. We added an under-stair wine room, perfect for showcasing the homeowner’s collection, and a stylish powder bath for convenience.

The centerpiece of the space is a full-scale entertainment room featuring a stunning custom backlit LED wood panel screen that adds warmth and modern sophistication. To complement the design, we created a custom bar with integrated LED lighting, marrying functionality with a sleek, inviting ambiance.

Every element of the renovation was thoughtfully designed to maintain the historic charm of the home while offering contemporary updates that reflect the homeowner’s lifestyle. This project was a beautiful blend of preserving the past and embracing the future, and it’s a space that perfectly balances character and creativity.
